On May 3, 2016, The Honourable Bardish Chagger, Minister of Small Business and Tourism, attended the FIT Cuba 2016, Cuba’s international tourism fair, which recognized Canada as this year’s guest country of honour.
During her visit, honorable Chagger met with Cuban government officials and representatives of Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises based in Cuba to highlight Canada’ over 70-year relationship with Cuba and to promote trade.
CCICC president Mrs. Lussier and vice president Mr. Hage attended this historic event, in welcoming Honorable Chagger, and encouraging the Canadian government efforts to enforce our good relations with Cuba.
