Currency unification

Cuba has been using the CUC and CUP since 1994. This duality of the currency is coming to an end and the government is working hard to unify these two currencies to return to the single CUP.

This unification, which aims to increase exports and stimulate the private sector, is worrying and raises many questions.

The government therefore multiplies interventions and explanations to reassure and explain the future of monetary unification.
