Created by the monumental Alicia Alonso in 1998, this amazing ballet, adapted from the classic written by Miguel de Cervantes in 1605, is an explosion of color and energy.
“Prima ballerina assoluta” and executive director of the Ballet Nacional de Cuba , Alicia Alonso is the main figure of classical ballet in the Latin-American culture and one of the most illustrious figures in the history of ballet .
